How to Use the API Key and URL

Important: The API key found in your account home is private and should not be shared with anyone.

Whenever your API Key is sent to the URL via POST request our servers will take the IP address used to request the URL and add it to your account. That way your IP will always stay up to date if the URL is requested regularly. As you most likely have better things to do than sitting around all day sending requests, there are several ways to automate this process. Please see the related articles below.

To find your API Key, please follow these steps:

  • Visit your Unlocator account
  • On the left-side menu, click on "Advanced" under "Smart DNS"
  • Locate your API Key under "Your Private API Key"
  • Click "Copy"
