How to Block Google DNS on Roku Using Trendnet Router

  1. Make sure your DNS is set to the Unlocator DNS 185.37.37.37 and 185.37.39.39. Follow the Trendnet guide here if you are in doubt
  2. Note down the IP of the router. Look in the address bar of your browser and note down the IP.
  3. Go to Advanced Options
  4. Select Routing
    Set Destination IP to: 8.8.8.8
    Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.255
    Gateway: The IP from step 2
    Wan should be selected.
    Metric: 2
  5. Press Save​
  6. Please repeat the steps above for the IP 8.8.4.4

First step of troubleshooting should always be to restart device(s) and router. Then check your account status in your account home. You should always see 3 green check marks if the device you are using to visit the account home is set up correctly.
