I Don’t Recognize the IP in my Account Home

Some users are a bit confused about the IP they see in their account home. That is because the IP that we use for verification is the public IP, which the outside world sees when you are online. This IP is different from the IP you see on your local network.

The public IP is an IP that you automatically get from your Internet Service Provider (ISP), where as the local IP is one your device(s) receive from your router/modem. 

So when you see one IP in your account home and another IP on your device there is no reason to worry. Everything is in working order. All devices from your home network are covered under your public IP.
